Introduction
DineSwipe powers restaurant operations, table-side ordering, and guest touchpoints. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: Restaurant name, contacts, email addresses, and phone numbers you provide during onboarding or support requests.
- Operational inputs: Menus, orders, table states, inventory notes, and automation rules created by your team.
- Usage & diagnostics: Device information, IP addresses, and event logs that help us secure and optimise the product.
- Payment references: Transaction identifiers from gateways such as Razorpay; we never store full card or UPI credentials.
How we use data
- Deliver core features like QR menus, table management, analytics, and automation you configure.
- Provide onboarding, training, billing, and incident response support.
- Communicate security alerts, feature releases, and service advisories.
- Comply with applicable laws and enforce the DineSwipe Terms & Conditions.
Sharing information
- Service providers: Payment gateways, messaging partners, and cloud hosting vendors process data under confidentiality agreements.
- Compliance & safety: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or to protect the rights and safety of guests, staff, or DineSwipe.
- Business transfers: If ownership changes due to a merger or acquisition, we ensure the new entity honours this policy or provide notice and choices where required.
Payments & partners
Transactions routed through Razorpay or other providers follow their privacy policies. We encourage reviewing those policies to understand their retention and security practices.
Data retention
We store operational data while your subscription is active or as needed for legitimate business purposes. When information is no longer required, we anonymise or securely delete it from live systems and backups on a defined schedule.
Security commitments
The platform uses encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring. No internet service is entirely risk-free, so we recommend strong passwords and limiting staff access appropriately.
Your choices
- Update account information through the DineSwipe console or by contacting support.
- Request export or deletion of personal data, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.
- Manage marketing preferences using unsubscribe links or by emailing us directly.

DineSwipe is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe such data has been provided, contact us so we can remove it.

We may refine this policy to reflect regulatory requirements or new product capabilities. Material changes will be communicated in-product or via email before they take effect.
